KLGFA Awards Night: Took place last Saturday night (Oct 28th) in the Rose Hotel and the Austin Stacks Ladies Club was well represented on the night. Collecting her Senior Munster Championship Medal was Laura Rogers and collecting U14 Munster Championship medals were Heather Mac Namara & Lara Flynn. Several of our Senior Ladies team attended and were on hand to pick up the club’s Intermediate Co. Championship medals and last but by no means least Marina Barry collected her ‘Lifetime Commitment Award’ for her dedication to ladies football. Well done ladies from everyone in Austin Stacks.
Senior Ladies:  Two outstanding fixtures still to be played before our 2017 season concludes: Co. League Div 3 Final Austin Stacks V Spa Killarney on Sunday 5th November and the Mary Jo Curran ‘C’ Final V Milltown/Listry on Sunday 12th Nov.   Time and venue for both games TBC.
U14 Girls: Our season will conclude with 2 finals. First up our U14B team V Ballymac at home in Connolly Park at 11.30am this Sunday Nov 5th in the Town League B Final and on Tuesday next Nov 7th we will play Kerins O’Rahillys in the Town League Shield Final at 7pm under lights in John Mitchels.
U13 Girls: We played a challenge game V St. Vincent’s Dublin last Sunday morning in Caherslee. It was a very competitive game with St. Vincent’s emerging victorious by 2 points. Well done to all the girls on a great performance. Our thanks to Peter & Tuiske Breen who organised the game and also to Anthony Moriarty and Pat Reidy who helped us out on the day.  We also say well done to our 5 players who played with Kerry in the U13 Development squad blitz last Saturday in Mallow  – Clodagh Murray, Grace O’Connor, Aoife O’Rourke, Grace O Mahony & Eimear Litchfield.
