Austin Stacks Greatest No 3
Ger OKeeffe finished his illustrious career manning the square in the early nineties before passing the baton on to Eamonn OBrien and then to Jerry Fitmaurice most effectively for the championship win in 1994.
Don Shanahan and Kenneth Leen shared the responsibility around the turn of the century when David Leonard kept the jersey on his back before departing for Australia. Daniel Bohan then largely took up the mantle before Barry Shanahan commanded the position and captained the club to Munster glory in 2014.
In recent years Fergal McNamara and more recently Conor Jordan have filled the pivotal role.
