PEIL FAOI 12: We had another fantastic turnout on Saturday last in the IT Tralee North Campus where 35 Under 12s thoroughly tested the deep foundations of the Kerry Sports Academy hall over 75 minutes of intense drills, thrills and skills. Aclaíocht, a dhuine! The coaching team members are very pleased with the level of improvement shown since the return to action and they can see who has been out mid-week honing their skills against the gable wall! Déanann cleachtadh máistreacht!!! Our session finished with a 4 team blitz and it was the boys in red who topped the table on scoring difference. PEIL FAOI 16: Training continues every Sunday morning at 10.45am in the Bishop’s Field. We have booked the GYM for Wednesday evenings from 6.15pm and, so, be sure to be ready to go for a quarter past six. Don’t forget to bring foam rollers, bands and plenty of water. We had a great run-out last Saturday afternoon against the Mighty Tuam Stars. (Thanks to the Field Committee for accommodating us with the Nun’s Field as a once off). It was a great opportunity to blow out the cobwebs and get back to competitive action. Some great football was shown by both sides along with some very basic errors but that’s to be expected at such an early stage in the campaign. It was a joy to see some of the flowing football we expect from this side and when they get their movement right they are a pleasure to watch. Although the result was never a major concern it was nice to start the year with a win and, so, well done to all. Much appreciation needs to be expressed to the parents/guardians for supplying some fantastic goodies after the match. The culinary skills were easily the highlight of the day! Yum! Yum! (Denis is still munching his way through the selection of biscuits 😂😂).
