- Under 6 boys training will take place at 11am in Mounthawk
- Under 8 boys at 10am training in the MERCY MOUNTHAWK HALL.
- Under 10 players will play at 10am in THE GREEN Secondary School.

PEIL FAOI 12: (i) After another rip-roaring training session at the Kerry Sports Academy on Saturday, our U12 charges are very close to being ready for competitive action. And they don’t have long to wait! (ii) The ‘Timberland Kitchens & Flooring’ Town League gets underway this weekend when we face Na Gaeil’s Div 1 & Div 3 team at home in Connolly Park on Sunday at 5.30pm. For the Town League, we will be dividing up our panel into 3 teams to play across the league’s 3 divisions. We will be notifying parents in advance of this weekend of the team selections. The full fixture list for the Town League is as follows: DIVISION 1 – at home v John Mitchels A at 4pm on Sunday 1st March; away v Na Gaeil A at 4pm on Saturday 7th March; away v Ballymac A at 4pm on Saturday 14th March. DIVISION 2 – away v Kerins-O’Rahillys at 4pm on Sunday 1st March; at home v Ardfert at 4pm on Saturday 7th March; at home v Churchill A at 4pm on Saturday 14th March. DIVISION 3 – at home v Na Gaeil B at 5.30pm on Sunday 23rd February; at home v John Mitchels B at 4pm on Sunday 1st March; away v Churchill B at 4pm on Saturday 7th March; away v Ballymac B at 4pm on Saturday 14th March; away v St Pats at 4pm on Saturday 21st March. (iii) Other important NEWS: (1)…We commence Thursday evening training sessions this week at Connolly Park at 5pm (to 6:15pm). Please be there for 4.45pm. (2)…We travel to Cork on Saturday 29th February to take on our good friends, Douglas, on the splendid 4G pitch at Páirc Uí Chaoimh….bus trip details will be confirmed during this coming week. (3)…The U12 team wardrobe is in need of replenishing! To raise funds for new jerseys, training tops and footballs, we will be hosting a table quiz on Sunday afternoon 8th March in the clubhouse at Connolly Park. Fundraising cards will be issued to all U12 boys next weekend. We encourage all parents and families of our players to come out and support the table quiz. More details anon….
SCÓR na bPÁISTÍ: The Tralee area finals must be completed by April 5th. The South Kerry (semi-final) will take place at 3pm on Saturday April 18th. The North Kerry (semi-final) will take place at 1pm on Sunday April 19th. County finals: Monday May 4th. All we have at present is a solo singer.
PEIL FAOI 14: (i) The greatly anticipated Comórtas an Earraigh i nGallaras was postponed because of the droch-aimsir Dé Domhnaigh seo caite. Stoirm Donncha ba chúis leis an gcur siar! We await a re-fixture date. (ii) Opening fixtures for our new season with the Town Board U14 competition have both been postponed until March 15th.
PEIL FAOI 16: (i) Training will be held as usual on Sunday morning next at 10.45am in the Bishop’s Field. The gym has been booked for Wednesday evenings from 6.15pm and, so, all players are asked to be ready for action at 6.15pm. Don’t forget the foam rollers, the bands and plenty of CO2 (uisce). (ii) We’ll have a Street Collection on Saturday 7th March and, so, it’ll be important that everyone will be available on the day. All hands on deck, boys, and details will follow. (iii) We are hoping to organise an away trip to the Mayo v Kerry game on Saturday 29th Feburary and this will include another challenge game against Cathair na Mart (Westport). This should be a fun trip and details will follow.

Extra support for our Tralee lads would be greatly appreciated, especially as The Sem has home advantage. (ii) Frewen Cup (U16½): Good wishes to The Green CBS lads who will take on Coláiste Bhréanainn, Cill Airne, in the Munster final of the Frewen Cup competition. (ii) Brother Colm Taft Cup (Faoi 15): The Green and The Sem will also tackle each other in the Under 15 final. An Fhaiche Abú!
SCÓR na SINSEAR: Tralee area finals must be completed by March 6th. Senior Scór county finals will be held on Saturday March 14th. Times: quiz at 4pm and stage items at 5.30pm. The Munster finals will be held in Cappamore on Saturday March 28th. All-Ireland finals will take place in the INEC, Killarney,at 3pm on April 25th.
GAELTACHT: If you’d like to avail of a Gaeltacht scholarship/grant for a summer holiday in Corca Dhuibhne, please apply to the club secretary immediately. Ná cuir do leas ar cairde! We have four applications so far.
