PEIL FAOI 12: The 2020 U12 season got off to a record-breaking start on Saturday last with a huge turnout of 41 boys….that’s four 10-aside teams +1……for our first training session at the fabulous new sports hall in the Kerry Sports Academy. Any talk of turkey, cobwebs or dirty petrol was in the past tense after a vigorous warm-up under Eric’s tutelage and, with hearts and minds now fully tuned in, every player proceeded to give his all over an hour of fast-paced drills and even faster practice matches! A highlight of the session was to see the returning veterans of last year and the class of 2019 U10 graduates mix so well in play and discussion! Ní neart le cur le chéile!! The Academy hall will be our home for the next 5 weeks and both mentors and players alike couldn’t ask for a better facility to prepare for the exciting season that awaits us all. We’re back again next Saturday (25th). Please be there for 3.45pm ….and remember to bring (i) €3 for use of the hall and (ii) your gumshield…..sea, pinginí agus cosaint fiacla! Good luck to the coaching team of Tim McMahon, Ciarán Murphy, Pa Laide, Lawrence Cotter, Joe Walsh, Shane Lynch, Dex Carmody and Theo Ó Duigín.
