PEIL FAOI 10: (i) What a weekend! We hosted 32 Under 10 football teams, including 16 clubs from 7 other counties – 500 players overall! The John Lynch U10 Tournament was a great success! Congratulations to Naas, the overall winners. Their captain was presented with the John Lynch Cup by Phil Lynch. ‘Well done’ to all organisers, helpers, players, supporters and parents. The tournament was a great tribute to the late John Lynch who was a faithful and tireless worker for our club. Beannacht Dé lena anam. Beidh cuntas iomlán againn an tseachtain seo chugainn. (ii) We’ll have our big get-together for the end-of-year medal presentation on the 8th December (an lá saoire), an occasion not to be missed. PEIL FAOI 15: (i) Having defeated the Kerins-O’Rahilly Club lads and Na Gaeil in the Kerry Under 15 SuperTouch football competition, we headed to Currans for the finals. We successfully challenged Neidín, Listowel Emmets, Naomh Mícheál/An Fhaill Mhór agus Na Gaeil and we convincingly retained our SuperTouch title. Ba mhór an gaisce é sin! CAID FAOI 16: (i) We’ll have a three-way play off for the title in the Bordcheantar Thrá Lí Tournament (Goup 1) after our 4-4 to 0-9 defeat v NaGaeil on Tuesday last. Na Gaeil, Ballymac agus sinn féin will now vie for the title. Up The Rock! (ii) ‘Well done’ to Adam Curran who proudly represented the club with the Kerry Development U16 side prior to the county final on Sunday last. Ardfhear, a Adam! MÁLAPHACÁIL: The Austin Stack Club Ladies fundraising bag packing will take place at Garvey’s Supervalu this Friday and Saturday (2ú/3ú Samhain). Asking all the Austin Stacks club to please give their support. Remember the Ladies club do not receive any funding and all costs associated with the running of the club from purchasing footballs to covering referee fees must be raised by the players themselves.
