‘Fuel the Rockies’ Speed Development Programme – we got off to a great start last Sunday. Well done to the parents who availed of the Free Exercise classes too. As we have built in an opportunity for an extra bonus session, the good news is that it’s not too late to get your daughter or son on the programme. The eventbrite system will remain open for another few days and will close before this Sunday. Thanks to Elma, Eileen, Eamon & Tim and all the coaches – Travane Morrison, Mike, Orla, Eamon, Sean, Caoimhe and Denis. An queries please contact Gene O’Donnell on 087 9047707
PARENTS ARE BEING OFFERED FREE EXERCISE CLASSES at the same times.
PEIL FAOI 6~10: (i) Our Under 10s are now taking a well-deserved break after a long season of hard training/coaching, exciting games and enjoyable trips. And they finish with a flourish and a great end to their year’s activities when they participated in the John Lynch Memorial Tournament. Tá sos an gheimhridh tagtha ach ní fada go mbeidh na buachaillí fuinniúla aclaí seo ar an mbóthar arís…..nuair a thosóidh séasúr geal nua! ‘Well done’ to players, mentors and parents for all the dedication and hard work throughout a long fruitful season. (ii) The U6, U7, U8 and U9 young stars are also on their winter break.
PEIL NA MEÁNSCOILEANNA: (i) (a) Next outing in the Corn Uí Mhuirí competition for The Green CBS will be the upcoming challenge v Cork’s Coláiste Chríost Rí. That game will be played on Wednesday next, November 13th, and a win will more than likely allow them through to the knock out stages of the Munster Colleges Championship because of their good victory over Intermediate School Killorglin in round 1. Best wishe to The Green boys! Go n-éirí go geal le Lúcás Chester, Armin Heinrich, Eoghan Ó Cearúill, Conchúr Ó hÓráin, Jordan Ó Cíosáin, Cian Puirséil, Seán Cuiltéir agus Ruairí Ó Conaill. ISK will play Coláiste Bhréanainn on the same day. (b) The Mercy Mounthawk boys will take on ISK in the semi-final of the Corn Uí Shúilleabháin (Kerry) competition but, as they were defeated by Ballincollig’s Coláiste Choilm in the opening round, they will need to overcome Bandon ‘High’ on Wednesday next (13th) to stay in the Corn Uí Mhuirí race. Na Stacaigh ar fhoireann shinsearach Chnoc an tSeabhaic: Seosamh de Nógla, Dáithí de Búrca, Adam Ó Curráin, Seán de Bastábla. Cnoc an tSeabhaic Abú! (ii) Corn an Bhráthar Colm Taft: Sunday is a red letter day for the Under 15 boys of The Green as they take on The Sem in the the Munster Under 15 Final. This game will serve a prelude to the Kerry Senior County Final and, so, it will be a great occasion for The Rock boys involved. Go along and shout for Togor Silong, Aaron Nolan, Colm Browne, Jamie O’Shea, Marc Carmody, Damien Hogan and Seán Moynihan. An Fhaiche Abú!

Rock St. Post Office – Make Sure They Know You’re A Rockie! Martin and Marie Williams of the Rock Post Office have set the Tralee GAA Clubs a task where the club whose supporters make the most transactions in the Rock Post Office from now until April 2020 will win the right to exclusively sell their Club Lotto Tickets there. The personal or work place/business transactions include purchase of stamp booklets, TV or Dog licence, registering a letter, one for all Gift Vouchers, mobile top ups, currency exchange, savings or even purchasing your Christmas stamps. Each transaction is worth points and the club. If you are in the Post Office and making a transaction please give your club allegiance at the counter by saying I’m a Rockie. This won’t cost you a penny but will really help the club as Lotto fundraising represents a large part of our annual club income. Be sure and spread the word to family, friends & employers – I’m A Rockie with every transaction.
