U10 Footballers – made the trip to Youghal GAA Club on Sat Aug 3rd for their invitational tournament. Teams participating: Youghal GAA, Erins Own (Co. Cork), Ballinacourty, Moyle Rovers & Clonmel Commercials (Co. Tipperary) and Austin Stacks (Co. Kerry). A Great day out for the boys who were represented Co. Kerry with great distinction. Thanks to our mentors and to Aidan & all at Youghal GAA club for the invitation.

PEIL FAOI 14: (i) On Monday 29th we played our U14 Central Region League (Division 4) final v Laune Rangers in Strand Road Field. Both clubs fielded their U13 teams. Having played against a strong wind in the first half, we found ourselves trailing by 0-9 ag am sosa. Our second half display was much better and, in an extremely physical battle, we finished with a 0-1 victory. Brillant! Ar fheabhas! Well done, boys! A special ‘well done’ to the two captains, Barry Nagle (Roinn 4) and Shane Cotter (Roinn 1). A big ‘thank you’ to the Killorglin Club for two great finals and for accommodating us on several occasions this year due to our Féile commitments.
