PEIL FAOI 8: (i) We’ll have the best of good football on Sunday next at 11am and (ii) there is no U8 training on Thursday owing to the Camp.
PEIL FAOI 10: (i) With all kinds of weather, we headed for Clare, visited Limerick and returned tired and happy! (See Peil Faoi 10/12 below!)
PEIL FAOI 10/12: Our Under 10/12 boys had an exciting tour of Clare and Limerick last weekend. (i) We challenged a good Clare football team, St Josephs of Doora-Barefield. (ii) We had a great afternoon of fun at the UL Adventure Centre. (iii) We dined with Ronald McDonald! (iv) Chuamar go dtí an phictiúrlann. (v) We had a mighty challenge between our fine fit youngsters and a team of not-so-mighty not-so-fit ring-rusty grown-ups! Well done, boys! You showed ‘em your skills on the Plassey Astroturf! (vi) We played a great challenge match v the footballers of Mungret. Níor bheag san! Almost 100 travelled. Great credit to our well behaved enthusiastic boys and to a brave and dedicated group of Rock mentors/parents. (Thanks to Anne Heaslip for the following photographs):

PEIL FAOI 16: (i) Lee Strand County League Division 1: (a) Round 5: We played v Laune Rangers in a vital game in Connolly Park last week and achieved a good result. Well done, Under 16s! AdeS: 4-9; Cill Orglan: 3-8. (b) Our boys will away v Na Crócaigh in the semi-final this Wednesday 9th Aug at 7.30pm (ii) Division 7: Our B boys were defeated by Cordal/Scartaglin on Thursday last. (iii) Our U16 players on the Kerry Development panel: Conchúr Ó Mír, Dáithí Oba, Seán Cuiltéir, Eoghan Ó Cearúill, Dónal Ó Ruairc, Páraic Ó Lionnáin, Dara de Barra-Breathnach.

‘Dancing Through the Decades’ will take place in the Festival Dome on Saturday August 26th. We respectfully request all members, supporters and friends of the club – idir óg is aosta – to support this important annual fundraiser by purchasing a ticket at least one ticket. Price: €20. Even if you yourself cannot attend, you might be willing to purchase a ticket and offer it to a family friend or neighbour! We expect that this ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ event will be our biggest and best ever! All profits will, of course, go towards the continuing development of club facilities in our own Connolly Park. All support greatly appreciated.
AN CAMPA PEILE: Our annual Summer camp kicked off this morning will finish on Saturday 12th. Well done, footballers, coaches and organisers. Over 100 boys and girls signed up this morning despite a very wet morning.
BISHOP RAY BLESSES NUNS’ FIELD: We will welcome Bishop Ray Browne to Connolly Park this Tuesday at 7pm.
