U11 Girls: With the agreement of the 4 clubs – Stacks, Abbeydorney, Ballymac & Kerins O’Rahilly – the North Kerry U11 league was run off as a one day blitz last Sunday morning in Connolly Park. We reached the Cup final V Abbeydorney and after a very competitive game just came up short against the very good Abbeydorney side. Reminder U11 North Kerry Development continues for the next few Saturdays. Players born 2007 and 2008 are eligible.
U13 North Kerry Ladies District Championship: An amalgamated Tralee district team – KOR, Stacks, Na Gaeil & JM overcame Feale Gaels to win the Shield final last Sat at the John Mitchels Complex. Stacks girls involved Shannon Oba, Mary Moore, Gillian Lane, Grace Reidy, Anna Draghici and Aoife O’Connell. Very proud to say that our own Mary Moore took the Player of the Match award. Well done to Mary!
U14 Girls: Our U14 Div 1 team lost out to Abbeydorney in Connolly Park last Tuesday evening on a score line of Abbeydorney 3-6 Austin Stacks 1-8. A solid enough performance from our girls who were without some key players on the night. We have now qualified to play in the Div 1 Shield Final V Beale/Ballyduff (date tbc). Our U14B team had a fine win over Ballymac last Sunday evening and will now play Currow in the Div 4 Shield final (date tbc). The U14 Town League will be run off in a blitz format this year – games taking place in Caherslee this Saturday October 13th from 1.30pm.
U14B Team following their win V Ballymac last Sunday.
