U12 Girls: North Kerry U12 Div 1 Shield Final Austin Stacks 3-7 Listowel 2-3. We faced Listowel in the Shield final last Monday night Aug 24th, great credit due to both teams for playing some fantastic football in horrific weather conditions. Well done to players & mentors – see all the photos on club website under ‘Ladies Club News’. Next up for the team will be the Town League – other participating teams Na Gaeil, Kerins O’Rahillys, John Mitchels and Churchill.
U14 Girls: Last Saturday we played our final game in Div 4 at home to Moyvane. Report by Siobhan Quigley – We had 18 girls in the end and were able to play our first 15 aside match this season – this made a massive difference so big thanks to the 7 U12’s for giving much needed support numbers wise. The two teams were fairly evenly matched. We made an early decision on introduce Ellen Collins for her pace and stamina and she did a great job closing down Moyvane’s primary scorer on several occasions and even getting a point of her own. It was neck and neck to half time. Our second half performance was stronger again and the teams were level for most but a brace of well taken points in the later stages of the game pushed Movyane over the line. Final score AS 5-6 Moyvane 3-16. Players of the match were captain Grace Kirby and Ellen Collins who both put their hearts into it start to finish with special mention also to the excellent Chloe o Sullivan, Jacintha Griffin and of course Ashling Browne who saved the day literally a few times, also solid performances by Ella, Emma and Maeve. We would have to say that all the team played well in this one. It was great going to get a B team out to play all rounds of the Div 4 Co. League so thanks to mentors Siobhan, Diarmuid, Katie, Jimmy & Dave for all their efforts.
In U14 Div 1 we travelled to Keel last Sunday to face the district side of MKL Gaels and came away with the points – FT MKL 4-4 Austin Stacks 3-16. Our final game sees us away to Glenflesk this Sunday.

Thanks to all the team but special mention to our U14 players who were outstanding on the night. Our next game is away to Ballymac this Wednesday night where a win will give us home advantage in the Div 1 Semi Final.
Minors: Co. League resumes for us this week when we play away to Dr. Crokes this Friday night Sept 4th.

Attendance at Matches/Trainings: No more than 1 designated individual should attend a training session or game per child/family/group of children. The GAA Health Questionnaires MUST be completed by parents/guardians in advance of attendance.
Overall numbers should be kept to a minimum and in line with the space available in the venue/facility. Parents are NOT permitted to be in attendance at adult games where their child (U18) is participating. However, provision can be made to allow an adult to be in close proximity (e.g. in the car park etc) in case medical or other emergency needs require their presence. It has also been clarified that a parent/guardian attending an underage game in these circumstances shall not be subject to vetting as they are only the supervisor in a guardianship role for their own child and not any other child on the team.
