Girls Academy: U6 & U8 girls will train this Sunday morning in Caherslee at 11am. Our U10’s will be in Connolly Park for the Tralee Town U10 fun blitz – other teams participating include Na Gaeil, Ballymac, Kerins O’Rahillys & John Mitchels. Players to be there for 10am with games commencing at 10.30am. Please wear club colours & remember mouth guards.

U12 Girls: Our younger U12 girls played in the North Kerry Div 4 final V Ballymac in Connolly Park last Wednesday (2nd May) and ran out very comfortable winners. Joint Captains Katie Naughton & Rachel O Mahoney were presented with the Div 4 Winners trophy following the game. The Div 4 team were following in the footsteps of their team mates who had captured the Div 1 trophy just one week earlier against the same opposition. Afterwards the whole U12 team & mentors retired for some refreshments in the Club. So top marks to our U12 Girls – both teams outright winners & unbeaten in their respective divisions.
Attention now turns to the Co. League where we will have 2 teams (Div 1 and Div 4). Div 1 teams: Ballymac, Southern Gaels, ISG Kenmare & Milltown/Listry. Div 4 teams: Moyvane, Corcha Dhuibhne, John Mitchels, Legion & Southern Gaels. Our 1st game in Div 1 was played last Tuesday (May 8th) and our girls put in a great 2nd hand performance take full points FT Austin Stacks 4-4 Ballymac 0-9. Our Div 4 side will travel to Moyvane for their 1st Co. League action at 12 noon this Sunday. Next weeks fixtures as follows Tuesday May 15th Div 4 home to Corcha Dhuibhne at 7pm and on Thursday May 17th we are scheduled to play another Div 1 game this time away when we take on Milltown/Listry.
U14 Girls: Congratulations to Mary Moore who was the Club winner of our Féile skills competition which took place last Tuesday evening in Connolly Park. Mary will now go forward to represent Austin Stacks in the County competition which will be held on Saturday 19th May in Caherslee @ 4pm. Best of luck Mary. All U14 Co. League action was suspended pending the Munster Final last Wednesday night. Co. League resumes next week when we hope to have a home fixture V Abbeydorney match details tbc.
U16 Girls: Unfortunately Firies were unable to field this evening (Thursday May 10th) . We will play Ballymac away at 7pm next Thursday May 17th in our 4th game of the League.
Senior Ladies: Our next Co. League fixture looks likely to be a home game V Scartaglin on Friday May 25th.
Kerry Players: We say well done to our county & club players Aoife Dillane, Clodagh Murray, Heather Mc Namara & Grace O’Mahoney. Aoife was part of the winning Kerry U16 team who won the Munster Championship Final last Saturday V Tipperary. Clodagh, Heather & Grace were part of the Kerry U14 team who were in action on Wed last (May 2nd) and defeated Tipp in the Semi Final. with Clodagh netting 2 goals on the night. The U14s played the Munster Championship Final V Cork on Wed last (May 9th) FT Kerry 3- 5 Cork 0-9 with Clodagh Murray again on target with the 1st of Kerry’s 3 goals. Well done ladies another 4 Munster Championship medals for the ‘Street of Champions’.

Austin Stacks Ladies Club Membership 2018: Forms have now been distributed to all our players . Membership can be paid to your club mentor at any training session. Closing date for registration is May 31st. For insurance purposes all players must be registered. Players unregistered after May 31st cannot play in competition.
Paul Lucey Memorial Run/Walk – Thanks to everyone who supported our 10/5K run/walk last Monday – the event was a great success with the glorious weather playing no small part.
