Everyone in the Austin Stacks Club was thrilled to hear the news that Marina Barry is to receive The Lifetime Commitment to Kerry LGFA award at the Kerry Ladies Awards Night this weekend. The first time this accolade has been awarded. The award is a fitting recognition for her consistent excellence on the football fields of Kerry over many years. She is Austin Stacks most decorated footballer – the holder of 10 All Ireland senior medals and 5 All Stars while in a Kerry jersey and in the Austin Stacks jersey she has won every honour that there is to be won at club level in Kerry. She is holder of Co. Championship titles in Senior, Intermediate & Junior. Her Intermediate title coming just 2 months ago when she lined out alongside her daughter Caoimhe.
