An entertaining function was held at the Austin Stacks clubhouse on Friday 27th October to honour past and present club players who had won All Ireland Minor medals with Kerry since 1931. The event was organised by the Minor Football committee, in particular Mike Casey and Eamonn O’Reilly. MC was Timmy Sheehan, with Andrew Morrissey introducing and interviewing the medal recipients, many of whom had fond and amusing memories to recount and share. Medals were presented by Club Chairman, Liam Lynch. Emily Heaslip entertained with two lovely songs at the interval, food and entertainment were enjoyed by all present; the All Ireland Minor Cup (Tom Markham) was on hand for many photo opportunities.

A celebration night for this year’s Austin Stacks Minor winning team will take place on Friday, 10th November. County League Division 1 and Town League Winners medals will be presented. The Tom Markham Cup (Minor All Ireland Cup) will be on display that night, and all club members are invited to come along to enjoy the evening.
