How many of us start the year with good intentions of joining a gym and becoming a svelte, toned figure we always knew secretly existed inside us?
Why don’t we suceed?
Either moticvation fails or other aspects of life seems to come between us and our great hopes.
Being part of a group and having set sessions means that you are less likely to cancel.
How it will run

All can sign up for the programme on Sunday the 5th of April at Stacks Football Club at 10am or by email to niamhcollins@eircom.net

An introductary session will also be run on Sunday the 5th of April.
Participants will meet with instructors for health screening and programme planning.

The programme will officially run for 6 weeks from April 19th-May 24th
-
Paricipants will initially meet once a week on Sunday mornings at 11am. Other sessions will be organised according to demand.

A minimal fee of €3 per session is required to cover costs.

About the programme
Why take part?

You deserve to you spend a lot of time looking after others and you can do this best when you have some joie de vivre.

Supervised exercise You are supervised to make sure you are using proper form and technique and that you get the most from your workout without getting injured. The benefits of your program are explained.

Exercise helps us physically When we exercise routinely, our bodies work more efficiently – we use less energy to get better results, we can walk further, shop longer and play with the kids more energetically. When we are in shape, we better use our energy when fighting disease or stress, or in the healing process.

The Walking Buddy System provides the opportunity to meet new people and motivate each other to exercise.

Role model for your children the children of active parents are more likely to adopt active lifestyles.
This group is for women who want to get active and participate in a variety of fun and fitness activities.
