SENIOR FOOTBALL: As in previous years our Seniors get their season up and running with outings in the Town League. We have four round robin games to play with the top two teams qualifying for the final. All our four games are fixed for Sundays at 12.30pm as follows – R1 at home to Na Gaeil (27th Jan); R2 away to John Mitchels (3rd Feb); R3 away to Kerins O’Rahillys (10th Feb) and the last round at home to Ballymac (24th Feb). The Final is provisionally fixed for the w/e of 3rd March. The Co. League then gets underway on the following week-end and we will have details of that in next week’s Notes.
FUNDRAISER; Club Fundraising Clothes Recycling: collection date is Sat Feb 9th so start collecting now.

CARDS: The 45 Card Sessions continue in the Clubhouse on every Monday and Thursday nights, commencing at 9.30pm each night.
LOTTO: Last Night’s (14th Jan) Jackpot, worth €10,250, was not won. The numbers drawn were 1, 20, 25, 28. The €20 winners were: Kay Dineen, c/o Carmel O’Neill; and Kieran O’Callaghan, Brian Delee, Michael Godley Snr. and Agnes Breen, all c/o The Club.

SYMPATHY: Sincere sympathy is offered to the family of Mary Purcell, Woodford, Listowel (sister of Juvenile Club Mentor, John Purcell) who died tragically last week as a result of a road accident.
