SENIOR FOOTBALL: Back in Division 1 after a one year absence this season’s Co. League will involve six away trips and five at home. We begin on 10th March with a home game against Kilcummin, who at that stage could be All Ireland Intermediate Club Champions, and who were the only team to beat us last season when both sides were in Div. 2. Our other four home games are as follows: – R3 Dr. Crokes (12th May); R5 Kerins O’Rahillys (9th June); R8 An Ghaeltacht (14th July) and R10 Spa (28th July).
Our six away games are as follows: – R2 Na Gaeil (24th March); R4 Rathmore (24th May); R6 Dingle (16th June); R7 Templenoe (30th June); R9 Legion (21st July) and R11 St. Marys (18th Aug or 8th Sept).
We were due to begin our season on Sunday next (27th Jan) with a game against Na Gaeil in round 1 of the Town League but this has now been put back to a later date.
